Hughes

I have been with Direcway- now Hughes since 11/2005 - It has been a nightmare the entire time. The installation had to be redone as the 1st time it was so bad & now that Hughes bought out direcway they have implemented the "Fair access policy". I get less than dial up speeds when I have hit the download threshold of 350MB, and I do not get speed back for at least 24 hours. I usually get between 200 kbps and 860 kbps when not subject to FAP and I pay 69.95 for the pro plan of 1MG speed - but they say they only have to supply a minimum of 500 kbps. Also the speed test they have you run from their site reads faster than from this site ( today Hughes speed test said 868 & this site said 564. I had DSL before I moved, so I know what speed are suppose to be! - BS is putting it lightly - I have no other options, but dial up would be more reliable & a lot less money.
