After negotiating to get on "fast path" (no interleaving)...

Please elaborate. What do you mean by "fast path" (no interleaving)? Is this something I can contact embarq about to get better pings?

Thanks

Re: After negotiating to get on "fast path" (no interleaving)...

Scan »Embarq for more details. It could potentially decrease your first-hop latency by up to 32ms, but only if your line is perfectly clean, and your DSLAM supports it, and you get someone in support who gets the right tech to enable it. Since it's not available everywhere the standard response from support is generally "no" when you ask for it.

If your first hop latency is already under 30ms, then you are already on fastpath.
