Install and MAC address

The MAC address hassle is a big one: You have to have Micro**** to install Comcast, and then that computer is the MAC address that the service will use. There may be ways around that, but basically you have to have a NAT router that will clone your MAC address for its "WAN"
-You don't need Windows to install Comcast. You can call them and give them your modem details and they will activate your service.

-It is true that Comcast will only work with one MAC address, but it doesn't take much to use a different one. All you have to do is power down your modem/turn it off for about a minute, then plug it back in. Then it will use the new MAC address off your new pc/router/device. There is no need to clone your MAC address unless you wanted to keep your existing IP address.

PING

Can you please post some ping results comparing Comcast and Sonic.net's services? I am curious as to which has faster response when pinging the same servers. Can you ping various sites and maybe some tracert's too please?
