| Be glad you can get 1.5! I've been stuck at 640K for years now, with no hope of infrastructure upgrades anytime soon.
Heck, Qwest's on-line line qualification software says I should only be able to get 256K, so I'm lucky I can train at 640K.
I'm going to give Comcast a try and see if it's really as bad as many people have been saying it is.
I don't want to leave Qwest - their service has been great and reliable - but 640K is hardly anything in an era where OS software updates are regularly over 400 MB in size and the $49.99/month I pay ($29 for DSL, $29 for the ISP) doesn't help any. |
