| Top Shelf Support I am a Megapath IDSL customer and over the weekend my gateway pings went from 35ms to 100ms. I contacted support and they got on it right away. It appears that Northpoint was having a problem with one of thier circuits in the NYC area. I reported the problem on Sat. about 1am est. the problem was resolved by the time I got home from work on Monday. Tuesday evening I went to access the web and found that my access was dead (line was synced but could not go anywhere) so I called MP support to report the problem. While I was on hold my phone beeped (call waiting) it was a rep from MP calling me to reconfigure my router because the had moved me from the Philly gateway to the NYC gateway which is about 300 miles closer to me. After reconfig of the router I was back in business with a gateway ping of about 25-30ms. -- You are here "X" and have no one to blame but yourself ! | |
