| CTVEA Phenix City The owners are in cahoots with the city governement. Owners are landed gentry in the area. No one will ever be able to compete with them because city council keeps all competition out. We switched to Directv in 1995, because of our abhorrence for Phenix Cable. Even though the local channels(out of Columbus, Georgia) refuse to sign on with Directv, we receive networks over an antenna, even though we will have to make changes when the digital switch occurs. Also, Bellsouth DSL is much cheaper and more reliable than CTVEA. |
