| Bresnan is major stinkola...lol Bresnan has to be one of the worst Cable/ISP's in the Rockies area & I often get 100ms ping to their routers that are less than 5 miles from me. It's clear to me after 2 years they don't have Network Techs that know much to fix their network bandwidth loads/latencies and/or don't want to upgrade their network based on the obvious current bandwidth overloads and/or but IMO it seems more like they don't really care to support their customers. They also have major newbies in tech support (no offense to them) - so that it's pretty much useless to call their support lines.
It's basically the monopoly mentality of "we don't really care to support our network/customers....as we don't have to...". Like the previous poster - they have all these so-called different speed packages - but IMO, it's a joke because their network is so overloaded - usually you're just throwing them extra $$ for the same sub par speeds/bandwidth/latencies. 
Qwest didn't think it was important to lay fiber in my brand new neighborhood - so thus, they can only offer the 1.5 speed.  |
