| Clearwire POS internet provider.
I had a 2 yr contract w/ Clearwire because how terrible could an internet provider be, right... I lived in Duluth, MN @ the time and apparently there should be no place on the hill in which the city is built that Clearwire does not work. "You should have more than 3 bars @ all times."-manager of Clearwire Duluth. I lived not even .25 mi from a tower @ my first apartment in Duluth. I rarely had 3 bars and most of the time it flat out would not work. The technician said it was due to a line of trees in between the tower and my apartment. He said that hopefully if I moved I would get better signal, but there was nothing he could do... I moved.Well, not to get better internet, but I hoped it would work out that way. This time across the street from a tower. Clearwire would only work in 1 room, but the modem had to be sitting in the window. Plus, every time I would get service someone would hack into my Clearwire modem and they would turn off my service thinking it was me... So my advice would be to go with ATT, Comcast, or any other cable provider!! It costs the same if not less than Clearwire and you will save time not having to call every couple of weeks and you may even be able to be on the internet. |
