clubs: | LD Dialing That is interesting about the # sign after dialing a LD number affecting U-verse too. That is what we have been doing on our phone service here on Powellink once we figured it out - it cuts the call termination time down by about 10 seconds. | |

| Re: LD Dialing Forgot I posted this. Our telco has since changed a couple things on their end and now the # key doesn't need to be pressed to complete the call faster. A LD call is just as fast as dialing a local call now.
Not sure if that is something AT&T can change or not... | |

| U-verse Thank you for your review. I am in Vista on Carlsbad's TWC and have been having nothing but problems for the past two months with signal and tiling-even on one tv with no box. I just ordered Uverse the other day and they are coming next week to install. | |

However, it is there and it usually occurs on the weekends for some reason.
I wonder if it is related to the traffic volume on the area hub? | |

| HDMI Issue The issue with HDMI is not technically with the STBs, though with most of the HD Tv manufactures, using custom HDMI setups not conforming to standards. The ATT STBs conform directly with HDMI standards, no extra fancy or custom features. This causes problems with $1k-$2k plasma/lcd makers which try to make their HDMI "better" by not conforming to standards. It is unfortunate that ATT generally gets the blame for this. | |
