101freeway routing stinks

well i was visiting my brother up in santa barbra i was checking out his dsl (he has 101freeway also) speeds/routing and noticed that hes routing really sucks. He was pinging 30-34ms to the gateway and i dont remember what exact network he was running thur but it was giving out high pings for local servers. His download speed was good though for the bronze package.

Ping sounds good

Since Iceman94 has a Fujitsu modem, the DSLAM is an older Orchit setup and Verizon's layer 2 transport is frame-relay based. If that is also the case with your brother, 30-45ms is a decent ping result to the gateway.
