Burlingame, CA | Xbox port According to xbox.com, port 88 is one of two ports (3074 TCP/UDP and 88 UDP) that Xbox Live! uses.
It's not necessary to open these, however I forwarded them on my router anyways. | |

| port 88 open I have an Xbox sitting behind a 2Wire 1800 which "understands" xbox traffic and forwards it on. | |
