Main (for work anyway) is a early 2009 MacBook unibody. Upgrade to 4GB of memory, running Lion. Also a MacBook Air, and el cheapo Windows 7 large screen HP lappy that is slow like molasses. A netbook with Windows XP.

Insight Cable connection -10.0..... I used Bellsouth Fast Access DSL from April 2000 until Oct 1 2006 when I decided to give the local cable company a chance.This company is in the process of going all digital TV so until this is completed , the channel lineup keeps changing. But the internet connection is solid.....Everything runs Microsoft Security Essentials....This setup scores all stealth at grc.com's Shields up web security test.

My network is consists of three desktop computers in the basement connected to the TP-Link TL-SG1008D 8 port gigabit network switch which in turn is connected to the Netgear router with gigabit ports. A notebook computer and an iPod Touch plus on Wi-Fi. One desktop computer connected directly to the Netgear WNR 3500l wireless "N" router. Also directly connected to the router is a 2 TB, is a single hard drive Buffalo LS-CH2.0TL NAS with the HP Desk Jet 932c inkjet printer connected to its USB port to serve as network printer. The router gets the dynamic ISP Internet service connecting through the Actiontec GT701D DSL modem to sonic.net.
My most powerful computer consists of a dual core processor Core2 Duo E8500 clocked at 3.2 GHz with 4 GB of DDR 2 RAM. This computer has three hard drives for a grand total of 3.32 TB of storage. The next most powerful computer consists of a dual core Pentium processor E5400 overclocked to 3.37 GHz with 2 GB of DDR RAM. This computer has two hard drives for a grand total of 960 GB of storage. This computer is directly connected to the router through the ethernet port. My third most powerful computer is also consists of a dual core Pentium processor E3500 overclocked to 3.25 GHz with 2 GB of DDR RAM. This computer also has two hard drives for a grand total of 240 GB of storage. My slowest desktop computer consists of a single core Pentium three 1.4 GHz processor overclocked to 1.52 GHz with 512 MB of PC 132 RAM. This computer has a single hard drive with a total of 100 MB of storage.
Our slowest computer is the old Sony notebook computer which has a Pentium III 850 MHz processor with 256 MB of RAM. This computer consists of a single hard drive with only 20 GB of storage utilizing a Wi-Fi card to connect to the network. The iPod touch version 3 connects to the network with its own built-in Wi-Fi.

Home network for myself, wife and son. We use a Linksys WRT54G2 to share a Verizon DSL connection (3M/768) over a 10/100M CAT5e/wireless network. It works well enough for downloading, web browsing, e-mail, and most recently Netflix. Two network printers: Brother MFC-465CN (wired) and HP LaserJet P1102w (wireless). Unhappy with DHCP, I started assigning static addresses to everything due to IP release/renew issues with laptops. We recently added a D-Link DAP-1522 wireless bridge and now have network access in our living room.

Current ISP is AT&T UVerse Tv & Internet 6/1Mbps.
AT&T RG running with all services but broadband and ethernet turned off. DMZ forwarded to a Cisco 870 router, with a Linksys WRT54G wifi access point running DD-WRT code.
The AT&T RG (gateway), Cisco router and Linksys access point all live in a network closet on an APC SmartUPS 1400 which provides 2.5 hours uptime during a power failure.
