Look down occasionally when looking around. This was at my feet. Taken with the Bigma, hand held.

One of three dear. I never did get a shot of all three.

A little black & white fun. This has been converted to grayscale then run through Alien Skin's Exposure plugin followed by some other minor tweaks like resharpening and some Levels adjustments.

Trees In The Mist

One of these days these old buildings will be coming down.

Golden Ears - Winter finally came all the way down to the valley bottom. I'm standing about 30' above sea level.

Ducks

Florence Lake - This is just how blue it really looked. I have not seen this colour in this lake before. The angle of the sun plus clear skies plus the position of the lake in a small bowl create a blue that is not unlike that found at Crater Lak..(more)

Reflections - Stave Lake - Mission BC

There's more than one way to skin a cat. There just wasn't a great shot on the leaves themselves.

B&W Version of 3 Image Tone-mapped HDR. This is Finn Slough in Richmond BC. It is a little backwater on the Fraser River and remnants of the original Finish community that founded it around 100 years ago still live there.

Caught this pair posing, yesterday. Mom above and Dad below. Really shows the difference in sizes.

Taken from 17 km away using the Sigma 50 - 500 with a Sigma 1.4 TC. Some of the peaks in the Golden Ears. It was nice and sunny where I was standing.

Pop & Mom A crop. 1/1600, f8, ISO 800, 500 mm

A nice day on the river.

Tinkering with Pog's plugin.

Another wide angle crop. I take these and they usually don't get used because the focal point is usually just around the horizon line.

Using Pog's Lab Overlayer Plugin. This is a tough shot because of having to expose for the mountains. The plugin provides some snap.

Buttercups and a Barn.

After 20 some odd days of freakin' rain I gotta post something. A sunny day on the Wets Coast. I decided to expose for the sky and go from there.

Well, I deleted the corrupted file and the thread vanished with it so I will repost the retouched version which is better anyhow.

This is an older image but since Anonymous bumped me to Premium I'll put up some more images. Thanks Anonymous.

Finally, one worthy.
