Continued new short series of American Farm Lands, and a dragonfly to boot. This will be the last entry of this series and last test of this post-processing technique, I may have found the proper settings and technique for post processing for the Reb..(more)

Ok so I lied. :P This truely is the last of the farm shots. Blurred the sky in this one a bit, I think it sort of gives it a semi-3d effect.

Sun blocking beauty-2, or beauty blocking sun, you decide. :) Thanks for viewing.

Shot 6AM this morning. We left around 4AM to get to this area in time for sunrise. To the left of the image the sun was coming up, what you're seeing is thick valley fog with the reddish rays of the morning sun gleaming across the top of the fog. Mor..(more)

HDR of the same sunrise location I posted earlier. This image was created with 6 images rather than three because of the extreme dynamic range or lack thereof at the time of shooting. It was shot 15 minutes later than the last one I posted. I like th..(more)

HDR Rainbow sky. The whole sky was beginning to look like a rainbow just before the sun peeped over the horizon. Single shots could not capture the true DR and colors of this beautiful sky but HDR did, this is exactly the way I saw it. This was actua..(more)

HDR Barn, the wind really played a part in this one but at least no people showed up in it. :) Thanks for viewing.

I HAD to do it, this old house had black and white written all over it. Put yourself in the time frame of 1955 and give it a view. :) Thanks for looking.

A friend called me and wanted me to shoot some landscape shots of his farm to send to Florida to his son. I thought most of them turned out quite nicely. This one in particular caught my eye when post processing and I wanted to share it. It was taken..(more)

Mich = Killer eyez!

Old and rustic, yet something I find interesting and beautiful in it's own way for a subject.

Can you see it? While driving down the road today we spotted something in the field. I was just thinking what I nice shot the fields might make when suddenly my traveling companion said "LOOK over there in that field!" :) Thanks for viewing.

Be Ye Also Ready

Ghost town USA. Back about 1880 this town was established about a mile from a small community known as Gauley Mills, this town was known as Lanes Bottom WV. It later became one of the major timber producers in the country as it grew. They transported..(more)

Fallen!! The image speaks for itself. Dark dingy and dirty, though a way of life for many it must be hell on earth.

Fallen 2. Dazed depressed and confused with little to no outlook on life or self-esteem, this image I think represents an extremely darkened corner of life in reality for some.

It reminds me once again, it's not the equipment that always counts, but sometimes just having the eye and being at the right place at the right time. Took my little Z3 out for a stroll this evening, and this is what I captured with it. Thanks for vi..(more)

HDR H20.

Experiment. A play on light from within.

Innocence. Venturing into a changing world so very much more complicated than the world they now know. If only we could assure them life would always be as it is in this photo and better yet, be able to back it up. Thanks for viewing.

:Experimental: Breaking ALL the rules? I setup the cam and tripod facing into the sun practically. The goal was to see just how much dynamic range I could get without HDR and with all the odds against me. Under the circumstances I was pretty happy wi..(more)

You gonna stand there all day or FEED ME? :) Thanks for viewing.

Let there be light! The light of my life, well one of them. Grandson, three years old. Would you go as far as to call it a form of art? Thanks for view.

Mind boggler, YOU figure it out. lol Thanks for view.

YGM! ~testing~

As much dynamic range as I could possibly achieve WITHOUT HDR. Thanks for viewing.

Fiery river, and three tiny little boats. Shot from moving vehicle. Thanks for view.

The end of a long hot day. Thanks for view.

Dares something awful stwewy dawn on awound heew. :P

The calm before the storm.

HDR H20-2 Not sure if I like this one or not, testing some techniques on clipping of the dark areas while hopefully giving better appearance to all else. Quite windy when this was shot also, but I think that added something magical to it. Thanks for ..(more)

Killer storm! This isn't a shot I would normally post, but I thought it looked kind of cool. Shot yesterday evening at sun down as a major storm formed in the east, the evening sun played magical mysteries with the colors of this cloud as it formed a..(more)

godzilla...GODZILLA! Anyone care to guess what breed this is? ;)

Summer winding down. Hay ready to be stored, gardens ready to be harvested, and what appears to be a loch ness monster in the image, :) I have no clue what that is! Thanks for view.

Rollin!

Shot during the golden hour. Playing with DOF and light, very simplistic but there was just something I liked about the shot, hope you find something you like about it as well. Thanks for view.

Dusk. Beginning of a new series I hope you'll enjoy. Thanks for viewing.

HDR-H2o-THREE! ~Experimental~ This was shot early this morning actually before the sun ever came into site, it was almost completely dark in fact. This scene only lasted about 15 seconds and was sucked up by black thunder storm clouds (which also mad..(more)
