Inspirational Text:
Though nothing can bring back the hour Of splendour in the grass, Of glory in the flower, We will grieve not; rather find Strength in what remains behind -- William Wordsworth Just when I thought I'd had enough And all my tears were shed There was no promise left unbroken There were no painful words unsaid You came along and showed me I could leave it all behind You opened up my heart again And then much to my surprise I found love, baby, love in the nick of time -- Bonnie Raitt "We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately." -- Benjamin Franklin Do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of. -- Benjamin Franklin The way to get rich is to practice law your whole life and then marry a rich window. -- Felix Frankfurter Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. -- Mark Twain Truth is more of a stranger than fiction. -- Mark Twain Beware of all enterprises that require new clothes. -- Henry David Thoreau “A foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds, adored by little statesmen and philosophers and divines." -- Ralph Waldo Emerson “The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.” ― Robert Burns Immortality — a fate worse than death. -- Edgar A. Shoaff You guys have been practicing discrimination for years. Now it's our turn. -- Justice Douglas quoting Justice Thurgood Marshall To separate them [the African American children] from others of similar age and qualifications solely because of their race generates a feeling of inferiority as to their status in the community that may affect their hearts and minds in a way unlikely ever to be undone. -- Chief Justice Earl Warren, Brown vs. Board of Education, 347 U.S. 483, 494 (1954)
