- Configuring as an "Access Point" works. My Belkin router now works as it did when I had a simple DSL modem. My belkin router has a "Access Point" setting so all i had to do was to set my IP address to 192.168.1.1 and go into Access Point mode. Bob_in_PGI , 1.6 years
