Cellular South Becomes C Spire Wireless
Promises Tailored Consumer-Focused Approach
Fresh off of their lawsuit to stop the AT&T T-Mobile merger
, Cellular South last night announced that the company is changing its name to C Spire Wireless. According to the company's press release
the company will re-launch starting next Monday "as the nation's first and only wireless provider to introduce personalized wireless services" offering users "truly personal experiences based on their individual desires and needs." How C Spire hopes to do this remains a little vague, but the company's fact sheet
(pdf) outlines how they hope to use a new customer rewards program and social networking tools to listen more closely to consumer interests. The company's new website
is counting down to launch.
