On the day after the ruling allowing Excite freedom in dealing with the cable franchises, it appears that only AT&T@home did not negotiate a temporary extension, and was shutdown. There are, however, various DNS, email and outage problems continuing with the other @home partners, perhaps due to the general chaos. Although AT&T has a backup network, and some customers have switched (picking up sought after email addresses as well), one must assume most AT&T cable customers are currently dead or on dialup.
