Preventing Piracy With Krazy Glue
Low tech solution to promotional music theft
The vast majority of pre-release music that finds its way to file sharing networks can be attributed to the duplication of promotional copies handed out to the media in order to create early buzz (or boredom) via music publication reviews. Epic Records Group has devised a very low tech solution to this problem: distributing the promotional copies within a glued shut Sony Walkman, with headphones glued into the jack to prevent copying. (Also see this NY Times story, reg. required) The move speaks volumes about the state of modern copy protection.

I've got a plan...

Just stop selling music. F*ck it. They can't have it their way, so just quit already.

Take the money you've already made for the past, what, 100 years-go screw yourselves. This 1984ish bullsh*t just reeks of idiocy at it's highest level.

Piracy does not condone idiocy.
