CELCOM (Malaysia) Bhd is confident of tripling its subscriber base to 60,000 by year's end following the launch of its General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). Group chief executive officer Datuk Ramli Abbas said after the launch of Celcom's GPRS in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday that the company already had 20,000 subscribers.
Moreover, Celcom's partnership with TMTouch was expected to enhance the group's strength and provide better services to its customers.Celcom has so far invested RM20mil in GPRS.
