P2P companies pay for 12 yr. old's lawsuit
The twelve year old girl sued earlier this week for file trading by the RIAA, will have her $2,000 settlement paid for by a coalition of file trading companies. The honor roll student, who shared such files as "If You're Happy and You Know It" on her PC, was one of 261 users facing lawsuits from the RIAA. P2P United, a lobbying group which has many file trading companies as members, has announced they'll be paying the settlement. "We don't condone copyright infringement, but it's time for the RIAA's winged monkeys to fly back to the castle and leave the Munchkins alone," says Adam Eisgrau, executive director of P2P United.

I Solemnly Pledge To NEVER Buy A New CD Again.....

I will look for a used one before I even consider new. I will never, ever, knowingly give those RIAA bastards another *&%^(^*(* penny!!!

Go to hell you S.O.B.s! I have a very large CD collection, on which I spent thousands of dollars, and of which 99% are brand new. I now regret buying even one at the ripoff prices that they have charged us for years. Prices go up, quality goes down. NEVER again! I swear!

I enjoy just about every song on all of my 60's and 70's discs, about half of the songs on the 80's discs, and, on average, one or two songs on my music discs from the 90's onward.

I am completely fed up with the RIAA gouging us, with their several hundred or more percent profit margins, making their fat asses rich, and then spending OUR hard earned money to sue us. FU, FU and FU.

Mark my words, I will work very hard to make sure everyone I know, and even people I don't know, do not buy your products. Nothing wrong with used, folks.

Have a great FXXXIN day!
