Federal Porn Tax
Tax dollars would help protect children
has reported that Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., plans to introduce a bill next week that would impose a 25% federal excise tax on transactions with for-profit adult Web sites. The money collected from the tax would be used for law enforcement purposes and to protect children from Internet-related crimes. The bill, labeled the Internet Safety and Child Protection Act of 2005
, also proposes new rules for Web sites to verify they do business only with adults.

The best child protection is free
It always has been. It's called a "parent". But of course, that means parents actually have to take an active interest in what their children are doing and spend time with them, teach them and give them the basis of being a good, productive human being. Instead, parents assign computers and TV the task of being electronic babysitters and expect schools to raise their children instead of just educating them.

Re: What will qualify as Porn ?
NOTHING will get this all tossed into the trash can quicker than turning it into political rants and raves thread.
Keep it ON TOPIC or expect your comments to get completely lost for no one to ever see. There are other forums here at BBR for political BS.
then think again!
