Fires two employees, issues public apology

As we mentioned yesterday, a Comcast user found her billing name changed to "bitch dog" after she had to complain repeatedly about poor service. After yesterday's heated media attention, Comcast has responded by firing the two employees responsible, and issuing a public apology, notes the Tribune. "We are appalled by this treatment of our customer and want to extend our sincerest apologies" said Comcast in a statement. Meanwhile the Tribune editorialists wonder who stands up for abused support reps?
