Young Cancer Patients Inspire 'Doctor Of Mischief'
(old news - 12:33PM Friday Jul 20 2001)
"The title for one of the books he's developing came from the answer a little girl going through chemotherapy gave him when he asked how she could stand the pain. "If you're going through hell, don't stop" was her candid reply. Romain started working with kids with cancer when he decided to donate all the proceeds from one of his books, "Keeper of the Dreams," to the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation. He was asked to read the book to children in a hospital cancer ward."
