Although I did put a TV tuner card into my last open PCI slot so I could record ATHF and Harvey Birdman. Still, at least they are offering a legal way to download and view their shows, even though almost every show they air ends up as a torrent.

Re: Wrong idea
said by AtomicZero:You mean more than the 5 episodes they keep showing over and over?
yeah what's up with the Venture Borthers aren't they gonna make more?
Then again, same can be said for Furi-Kuri (though they only seemed to show 3 rotations of that show).

Re: Wrong idea Crap. I kind of figured as such when I hadn't seen it on for such a long time, but until you know for sure, you always hold out hope.
It was such a fun show - always poking fun at other shows and anime and games. Maybe cartoon network will at least come out with it on DVD, but sounds pretty slim.
Would be great to get the torrents of the episodes, I never did see the pilot.
When I saw the headline for this... I thought maybe someone spotted my home WiFi SSID. It's meatwad.
So downloading the torrent is legal now "offering full-length, streaming video of Adult Swim original comedies between 11 p.m.-6 a.m. (EST) each Friday night."
Remember, you don't give up any rights when someone offers a new service. The right to time shift is well established. So I can choose to capture the stream and view it later legally. Or course, since I lack the technical knowhow to exercise my rights, I will just have someone else do it for me. So I'll just download the torrent of the avi that someone has done for me.
But that's just me. I view broadcast networks the same way. If it's on ABC, and it's over air, then hey, I can download it legally. It was broadcast, I do have a right to timeshift and spaceshift it, and I do have a right to have someone else handle the technical details of said timeshifting and spaceshifting. Cartoon network was on cable, so it's always beem a grey area, but if you pay for the cable channel on your lineup, you should be able to download the show. I'm a customer, I choose to watch TV the way I want to watch it. I didn't sign a contract saying 'I have to watch TV the way they say I should watch TV'.
Thats's why I want 100MB up/down on my internet connection. The world will be a much better place when we stop being consumers and start being customers again.
