| Geeze, these companies waste more money that belongs to investors than a small country. Where are these generous investors and why aren't they investing in my multimedia business? It's frustrating to see frauds getting investment capital, when honest, hard-working business people are always turned down or ignored with regards to capital funding. | |

| Address may be a mail drop All this brouhaha about the address may be moot. I worked for a computer time-sharing company in DC in the 80s, and they wanted to do a mass mailing, so they got a copy of a local trade association's membership list (legit) and proceeded to print labels.
We soon found out we needed to do a "merge and purge" run on the list, as there were many companies with the same address except for the suite number. One of our salesmen stopped by one of the addresses, and found a low-rent building with one office that collected and sorted the mail. Meetings were held either in a suite there, or in meeting spaces in a local hotel. -- "This is news? I could have told you that." "Yes, but you have no semiotic patina to lend versimilitude. | why let the companies "waste" money?
I know, I know, this is how 'murikkka works, but for christs sake, someone do some good. This is the result of greed taking over once again. It used to be that American jobs stayed in America because America's were supportin'. Now its, find a trend, throw money at it without investigating if its a solid lead, and wait to reap the benefits of said "throwing". And by throwing money at the problem, the only thing investors are doing is helping companies out source their work.
They get their offices cleaned by migrant workers paid minimum wage, but outsource the meat of the project to the Bob's and Mary Ann's of India. Least the office cleaning jobs were created on US soil! hey, i guess Bush is right! There ARE jobs being created! buncha baffoons run this country, the ones with silver lining in their pockets and spoons in their mouths. | |
