| Re: c'mon VZ!! Will not happen as Qwest has too many rural areas to pique Verizon's interest. VZ would be interested if they could get only the large markets--such as Seattle, Portland, Denver, Salt Lake City, and Minneapolis--while having another ILEC {ie. Frontier, TDS Telecom, or Century Tel} picking up the rural areas. You might see one of those 3 smaller ILECs buy them out if they feel like they can/want compete on a bigger stage and stop focusing on rural customers. *IMHO* | |
