Verizon Admits Math Error, Gives Refund
It is in fact .002 dollars per kilobyte...
Last week we told you the story of one Verizon Wireless user who travelled to Canada and was billed .002 dollars per kilobyte instead of the promised rate of .002 cents per kilobyte. When he called to complain and clarify, a Verizon manager couldn't tell the difference between the two. According to that user's blog, Verizon has given him a full refund for the $71 bill. Hopefully, Verizon's marketing materials now reflect that it is in fact .002 dollars per kilobyte if you head into Canada.
