In-Flight Broadband Plans StallPanasonic Connexion replacement sees turbulence

Last fall,
we noted how Panasonic had a plan to migrate all of Boeing's Connexion in-flight broadband customers to a lighter and cheaper system that was
"designed, developed and ready to go." The
Wall Street Journal (via
Wi-Fi Networking News) reports that those plans aren't going particularly well due to some
"financial and regulatory complications." Now the Panasonic plan and another competing
plan by Aircell have both been pushed well into 2008.
