Newsflash: Movie Download Services 'Suck'
Top ten reasons you already knew about....
Gizmodo offers their ten reasons why existing broadband film download services suck, and it includes all the same things we've complained about over the years: high prices, limited selection, clumsy DRM, limited quality, etc. One of their primary reasons, a lack of a PC in the living room, is something that's going to be quickly fixed by the growing number of set-top offerings, or the slow increase in user-friendly home media networking hardware. A question to our readers: are there any broadband film services you've actually been impressed by?

Yep!

"are there any broadband film services you've actually been impressed by?"

Sure! Newsgroups, BitTorrent, Direct Downloads...

No crap DRM, whatever format you wish(DVD rip, XviD, DivX, x264), can be burned, converted, transferred as many times as you wish.

Screw $14.95 for a crippled download!
I can buy DVDs for $7.99 or less.
I rent DVDs for $0.99.

So, tell me again, WTF would I want to pay that much for a movie that won't play worth a damn?
