Thinking about making a move to one of the global cities that has the best wireless broadband systems? The Age takes a look at the top ten cities that you should consider. Topping the list is Seoul which has a 3 mbps system that works even on the underground subway. Wired broadband in Seoul has speeds up to 100 Mbps at a rate of $40 / month to household subscribers. Other top cities include Singapore for its widespread broadband penetration (and eyes on 1 Gbps service and free WiFi access), Tokyo (for its widespread use of mobile Internet on advanced cell phones) and Hong Kong (for its overall advanced ‘full digital experience’). And here in the U.S. the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City both make the list.
