Can you get a suntan lotion that blocks 60Ghz wireless as well as UVA & UVB? Wouldn't want to get skin cancer. -- -- Internet News My BLOG My Web Page

Naw, 60 GHz is still a long way from 300 GHz (infrared 300 to 400000 GHz). -- I am not lost, I find myself every time.

| | refresh my physics Signal to noise ration is huge for 60ghz and requires expensive circuitry to boost gain to make up for the attenuation. They have been trying to get this to work for years because of the 7ghz bandwidth allotted for 60ghz, which would mean very little if any interference when using multiple 60ghz devices. Would work great inside of the home. | |

| | | Re: refresh my physics Some equipment in this range will work up to 1.5 miles (depending on area based on rainfall) and deliver 1Gbps. A 60GHz signal is absorbed by oxygen limiting distance and interference. I've stood in front of these dishes before and haven't felt a thing. -- Comtrain Certified Tower Climber | |
