The agreement raised the eyebrows of many because the agreement's initial version, hashed out in secret by the entertainment industry and governments, not only took aim at BitTorrent websites like the Pirate Bay, but also potentially whistleblowers, and even legit distribution systems like Tor. After ample criticism about how massive global copyright "reform" was being snuck through in private, Techdirt notes that the folks behind the project have decided the best way to address transparency is -- to hold another secret meeting discussing it.
