ATVFiles, my absolute favorite Apple TV plugin, saw a long-anticipated update yesterday. New features include a brand new installer script, file stacking with seamless playback, playlist support, and a handy file menu.

What's great about ATVFiles is it lets you browse and play video files as a file/folder listing, rather than syncing or streaming them through iTunes. This, combined with a handful of plugins, gives you the ability to play most any video format. ATVFiles has gotten better with every release and I look forward to more.
