The Uncarrier initiatives have been good for everyone, whether you're a T-Mobile customer or not.
Since they've started... we've seen:
Uncarrier 1.0: Simple Choice, which decoupled the cost of the device from the service. The end of contracts. No overages, but throttles at a set amount: 1GB/3GB/5GB. Unlimited/Unthrottled data plan also available.
Uncarrier 2.0: JUMP upgrades, which allows you to upgrade your phone two times per year and includes insurance
Uncarrier 3.0: Free international roaming for texts/data.
Uncarrier 3.5: 200MB/month of free data for tablets for life. Tablet financing with 0 down
Uncarrier 4.0: Will pay off your ETF up to $350/line and up to $300 for a device for 5 lines.
Uncarrier 4.5: Cheaper simple starter plans with no overages. Data sold in additional packs. Cellular capable tablets sold for WiFi prices.
Uncarrier 5.0: T-Mobile Test Drive so you can test out an iPhone 5S on its network for a week. No strings.
Uncarrier 6.0: Music Freedom. Unlimited streaming from this list: »

All customers made eligible to upgrade to a device that supports Wi-Fi Calling through JUMP. The T-Mobile Personal CellSpot home router (802.11ac) will allow users to make calls from their home using a broadband connection. Available for free with $25 refundable deposit.
Nationwide WiFi calling (first USA launch partner for iPhone 6) and
VoLTE launched and supported. Overseas Wi-Fi calling to United States is now free.
Hopefully there's an Uncarrier 8.0 in the works. Ralph is a bit nervous... I can tell.
