T What a joke
Hey AT&T, my home network has core gigabit potential too! Should I do a press release?
said by fatpipe:If enough consumers and businesses stop giving AT&T money, I'm sure the company would adapt and offer alternative services, or else it would cease to exist as a viable business. The problem is that not enough consumers are voicing their concerns. Nothing will change until people speak up and shift their money elsewhere.
In other words, a company that no longer meets the needs of its user base should no longer exist.
Re: "No one has every complained about U-Verse speeds"
said by iansltx:That is not entirely true. If the decision is solely based on bandwidth that might be true. But there are other factors such as reliability to take into consideration. My choices are Uverse and Suddenlink. I chose Uverse for a lot of reasons and have not been sorry that I did. I have yet to run into a neighbor who does not have Uverse here, at least in our section of the neighborhood. I have talked to quite a few neighbors who had Suddenlink and switched to Uverse and are much happier as a result. In the end you get what you pay for. But when you aren't getting what you pay for, you switch.
Right, because in every area where U-Verse is, cable also is. And in every single area, cable offers higher bandwidth than U-Verse. So people wanting more Mbps just switch to cable, or don't even look at U-Verse in the first place.

Seeing nothing wrong with 95% margin, the money men prevailed.
