The Tennessee House overwhelming passed legislation on Monday to help AT&T and other telecommunications companies gain a statewide handhold on the cable TV market.
The vote is one of the final steps before the bill heads to the governors desk.
I think we passed a good piece of legislation. Its certainly not perfect by any means, but I think itll go a long way toward creating competition in this state, said Rep. Charles Curtiss, the chairman of the House Commerce Committee who helped shepherd the bill through the House.
