Dslreports reports news on broadband, incl wireless broadband. And Dslreports reports the LTE news for Verizon, Sprint, TMO, etc. LTE is the new broadband frontier. What do you expect them to do? Not report new broadband rollouts?

Re: DSLReports = AT&T News Service?

There is a greatly disproportionate coverage of AT&T compared to any other carrier. Especially on LTE news.

Re: DSLReports = AT&T News Service?

Perhaps it's due to the fact that AT&T is more aggressive than other providers at this time?

I don't recall Verizon getting a new story every time it lit up markets with LTE.

There was plenty of news posts. But Verizon started rollout more than 2 yrs ago. AT&T's are all more recent.

I would have to agree, there's been MASSIVE amounts of T-mobile LTE deployment (so much so that they have basically passed up sprint LTE even though sprint had a year head start), but you'd never know it if you read this site.

Re: DSLReports = AT&T News Service?

That's because tmobile has been silent about it with no press releases...att hasn't. If you refer to tmo news you will see all the sightings. Mayne their big even next week will announce them all at once and yes they will surpass sprint prob.

If it's that bad, why haven't you switched to another provider?

.

Wow, nice to know they cover the Virgin Islands, now with LTE no less. Last time we were there was during the Cingular days and they didn't provide service at all.

AT&T LTE..

The Lafayette market has been online for a couple of months now.
Unfortunately the lake charles market is still running the "4G at 3G" speeds forever.

Iowa gets the shaft?

Not that I am a big fan of Iowa, but it seems to be the bastard state when it comes to AT&T. Two years ago my family literally crossed the Missouri/Iowa border and instantly we lost cell signal for about 50 miles and then we barely got Edge. I think we saw some 3G, but not much once we got near some of the bigger areas.

My sis-in-law lives in Iowa and she has US Cellular. Right now she is having issues down here in Florida with coverage. No 4G and she barely gets 3G.

It would be nice to have better roaming abilities between carriers. At least try to keep the 3G compatible. Edge(2G) is so old that even when the phone switches to it, it barely works anymore.
