AT&T Wireless back to square one with Rogers [not Internet] (old news - 09:50AM Tuesday Jul 20 2004)
AT&T Wireless Services Inc., unable to find a buyer for its $1.81-billion stake in Rogers Wireless Communications Inc. within a 60-day deadline, now has to re-engage Rogers Communications Inc. in one-on-one bargaining if it wants to sell its position.
In May, AT&T Wireless, owner of 34.1 per cent of Rogers Wireless, rejected a $1.51-billion, or $31-a-share, offer from Rogers Communications, majority owner of Rogers Wireless.
