| About Beta New innovative software or major upgrades - regardless of the source should be Alpha and Beta tested thoroughly before releasing to the public, or it should be marketed as a BETA offering. To do so not only avoids a slew of unexpected patching, it also avoids a slew of world-wide negative comments.

P.R.C. | Mine acts funny and skips and speeds up when I open some programs. Music sounds wierd too and doesn't sound as good as in the previous version.

Savannah, GA | Hit and miss I was looking on the Apple boards shortly after this came out to see which of the new features will be back-ported to my 5G iPod and it seems like iT 7 is really hit or miss.... missed with you two but hit with me... Apple will probably release a 7.1 shortly if I had to guess b/c there have been so many complaints.

Krotz Springs, LA | No trouble here... No trouble on my Windows PC, works perfectly, even the "Get Album Artwork" function.
Also works perfectly on my ancient iBook G3, except the coverflow function is horribly slow on it (the iBook) but then again the whole machine is rather slow.
