| the REAL number to call for tech support...
hello everyone. tired of calling the idiot tech support people that actually work for CLIENT LOGIC rather than bellsouth? call *** *** ****. that is the number to bellsouth's digital services group. this is the number that the technicians actually call when they are unable to answer your question(s) about your dsl problems when they put you on hold and keep coming back over to apologize for putting you on hold. the second option is if you have IFITL which is basically a sucky fiber connection which is often slower than regular dsl service. option 3 is for the rest of you (including the bridged customers/always on customers). also, if you have pppoE as your circuit technology or pppoA as your circuit technology, you will also want to choose option 3. if you do not know if you have pppoA or pppoE or 'bbg' - ask the regular techs what technology you are on when you call the regular bellsouth help-desk. if they aren't sure where to find it, tell them to check the ZOOM option in oracle or SOEG (two of bellsouth's major platforms for storing your information). forgot to mention that if you have BBG,i feel sorry for you, for it is the very worst dsl technology which often goes out, and you may want to go ahead and move to another dsl provider or go with some other type of broadband connection.
When you call the number that I listed above, you will be connected to the bellsouth DSG (the ++ real ++ dsl technicians/level II) and they know everything about what is going on from the central office all the way up to your modem. by the way - if you didn't already know, bellsouth is pushing for more software based connections rather than simple tcp/ip connections in order that they may not only spy on you, but so that they may sell all types of information to other companies. that is the cold hard truth. thank you, and i hope you find this helpful.
also, if you are really pissed off about your service and never get any real answers, ask the CEO of client-logic yourself. his name is Mark Briggs. i believe his email address is markbrig@clientlogic.com -------- and i forgot to mention that when someone gets on the phone that claims to be a supervisor after you request one, you are actually talking to what they refer to as a p.s. - or product specialist. what is a ps? just an experienced technician - nothing more. if you want imediate results when you call in, tell the phone tech that you want to speak with a SENIOR supervisor - make them get off of their lazy asses to talk to you. All they do is surf porn all day anyway.
i hope that all of this has helped many bellsouth customers. p.s. do NOT download the broadjump software that bellsouth is pushing. it is spyware.

| Re: the REAL number to call for tech support... well its obvious that you are an embittered FORMER employee of client logic, because no current BS employee would be that stupid, I hope. by the way not all BS techs work for client logic and DSG would just disconnect an end user calling in. -- Friends help you move, REAL friends help you move bodies [text was edited by author 2002-11-06 17:14:04] | |
