I found this one from the direct forum.
This afternoon my downstream was capped at 384 kbps when last night it was at 1.5 mbps. And I was wondering if the speed can be any faster, because before my old router could download files at 160-180kbps, and the fastest is 100-120kbps.
DSL Line (Wire Pair): Line 1 (inner pair)
Protocol: G.DMT Annex A
Downstream Rate: 384 kbps
Upstream Rate: 384 kbps
Channel: Fast
Current Noise Margin: 14.0 dB (Downstream) 7.0 dB (Upstream)
Current Attenuation: 63.0 dB (Downstream) 31.5 dB (Upstream)
Current Output Power: 15.5 dBm (Downstream) 11.9 dBm (Upstream)
DSLAM Vendor Information: Country: {0x0F} Vendor: {ALCB} Specific: {0x00}
PVC Info: 0/35
edit: seems like the problem was i put a filter on the modem/router, that's why the attenuation was so high
here are the new stats (the downstream is still capped though):

it's still capped at 384/384kbps but if you notice the difference in the readings (in bold) a incorrect filter can mean the difference between a good, and potentially bad signal. Those filters are not designed to be installed on the modem. Did you also know if you install the 2 port filter on the modem's port you will create your nice and healthy speed impairing bridge tap?
yep, it can bring an elite line down to 128kbps downstream literally!
