Authorities: Craigslist baby ad is a hoax (old news - 06:39AM Monday Jun 01 2009)
The Associated Press TAMPA, Fla. -- Hillsborough County authorities say an Internet posting about a woman trying to sell her 18-month-old baby is a hoax.
Sheriff's office spokesman J.D. Callaway said a child shown in a photograph that the Apollo Beach woman posted with the Craigslist ad was not hers.
No charges were immediately filed against the 19-year-old woman.
