Authorities estimate more than 10,000 gallons of oil spilled

Officials estimated Sunday that more than 10,000 gallons of oil flowed into the Rouge River during the last five days, the largest spill on Great Lakes waterways in a decade. The Coast Guard contained the oil to the Rouge River and that there were only "little tiny pockets here and there to be cleaned up along the Detroit River." The Rouge flows eastward into the Detroit River at Detroit's southern border. Read more here.
