Some BellSouth customers have reported receiving Emails which claim to be from BellSouth. The email "informs" the customer that they need to verify their FastAccess user name and password with BellSouth by browsing to a provided web site address and entering the requested information.

This email is not from BellSouth! It is an attempt by unknown parties to steal BellSouth customer account information. Do no respond to any emails of this nature. BellSouth will never send it's customers any email asking for this type of information. If you receive any email of this type, please forward a copy to abuse@bellsouth.net
