Good news...
That may mean some good news for BT customers if it all comes true. Something certainly has to be done to promote broadband in the UK. A reduction in the £ £ charged by BT and other broadband providers would make sense.

Good News
And if BT cut their price the others like Freeserve will also have to cut to remain competitive. I just hope that BT do not run the competition out of business and become a monopoly for ADSL provision in the UK by doing this. We still have some ways to go before we see anythinkg like the speed per proce of our North American counterparts. -- Join us and find the cure for cancer.
Hello:) If this turns out to be true it would be an improvement. I feel that the UK has not really done very much to encourage the masses to take to broadband in droves. There are still too many on DU modems who are not being given the incentive to move up o something better, faster.
One crucial factor is the price. If the prices are lowered more people will subscribe to ADSL and cable modem services. If there are more subscribers then the per capita overheads will reduce in time while allowing providers to sort out their presently inadequate business plans and improve the network infrastructures to the mutual benefit of the companies and their customers.
