Buy your own RR locomotive

All of the B&ML RR cars and locomotives are for sale. Coach cars can be remodeled to make all kinds of neat stuff: Workshops, diners, coffee shops, gift stores, offices. Even MIL apartments Send me an IM if you want the URL of the site selling the equipment.

Been there

I've been on this train. It is (was) beautiful taking a trip through the hills in the Fall and taking in the wonderful colors.
The people who have road the train loved it. But not enough people did so there was not enough money to keep it going. What an experience people will miss.

Bummer

Bummer, never got there... Train tracks end in my town, Cape Cod Commission and Historical Society woudn't think highly of RR cars here. I saw some cool caboose-cottages in Conway, NH.

Re: Bummer

A motel in PA is done all with cabooses. Even a Honeymoon caboose. Maybe the HC could be persuaded by telling 'em the cabooses are old.
