Bell Canada techs give strike mandate
(old news - 09:45AM Tuesday Jul 13 2004)
The CBC reports that 62.3% of Bell Canada technicians belonging to the Communication, Energy and Paperworkers Union have voted to reject the latest contract offer. While the union now has the mandate to strike on 72-hours notice, no such notice has yet been given by the Union to Bell Canada.

72 Hours Notice has been given

As of 16:00 hours today notice has been given by the CEP of impending job action up to and including a Strike at Bell Canada.
