Broken promises mar McGuinty's first 100 days: Eves

TORONTO -- Ontario's Liberal government has dug itself into a political hole that it may struggle to escape by the next provincial election, says Conservative Leader Ernie Eves.

Not surprisingly, Eves -- whose Tory government was soundly defeated by the Liberals in last fall's election -- had little nice to say during an assessment Tuesday of Premier Dalton McGuinty's first 100 days in office.

"tough" words,..

Yea - and look who put them in that position,.. hmmm,..

On top of that, the Tory gov't had warned the Liberals that thye were going to watch every penny spent and nail them hard if one expense was not 100% up to snuff,.. many days before the deficit was announced.
