11:19AM Thursday Jul 23 2009 by tmpchaos Hudson County lives up to its hard-earned reputation yet again, as arrests were made this morning in political corruption cases.
New Hoboken Mayor Peter Cammarano -- who just took office 21 days ago -- was arrested in an FBI political corruption sting, sources say. Longtime Secaucus Mayor Dennis Elwell and a Jersey City Deputy Mayor were also arrested.
A source said that the sting has to do with taking illegal cash campaign contributions.
